Leadership Team
Robert Willms – Founder, President and CEO
After more than 10 years as a senior leader at Digitas, 15 plus total years in digital consumer influence services and technologies, and a total of more than 25 years in professional services, Robert launched digitalArbor. Focused on bringing high quality, low cost, digital production support to agencies and corporations, digitalArbor is a digital production services company that leverages low cost offshore resources to dramatically reduce the costs of implementation.
digitalArbor 2008 – Present, President and Chief Executive Officer,
After leading the development of a dedicated digital production model at Digitas, and consulting to other early industry players, Robert founded digitalArbor to combine deep knowledge of digital agency issues and processes, with the disciplines of technology development. Bringing an unprecedented combination of skills and experience Robert helps agencies and corporations transition to this more efficient business model.
Robert was one of Digitas’ most senior leaders for much of the 10+ years, focused on partnering with world class clients in cross communication channel customer influence and brand stewardship. During his tenure Robert held a wide range of roles including Relationship Leader for the very large General Motors relationship, he launched and managed the Digitas Chicago office, before returning to Digitas Boston Headquarters to become President of the Digitas Boston region, (encompassing the Boston, San Francisco and London UK offices and approximately 70% of the revenue of the company.)
Robert consistently managed the tension between the clients need for innovation and expansion in the digital channels, the increasing complexity of technologies, and the constant demand for cost control. This experience is the foundation for digitalArbor, to support the growth of a service company without requiring a compromise to quality and speed in order to drive dramatic cost savings.
Before joining Digitas, Robert helped build Bain & Company’s practice in Canada and was a principal in a CRM focused marketing strategy consultancy and a partner in a customer focused software development and infrastructure systems integration company providing solutions which allow corporations to better manage their customer and prospect relationships.
